they look like they are big enough to bloom, it just depends if they are getting enough light and fertalizer. Apparently if they have and ceorulea in their genes, they can flower smaller.

Some say you give them a bloom booster fertalizer to kick them into blooming

I would say that as long as these have had enough light, and feeding they should bloom.

Hi, someone told me to use banana peel on my vandas to make them bloom and it does work
mines get morning sun and water everyday, but they were being a little lazy about blooming but after a few weeks of the banana treatment I saw a spike and now waiting for the blooms
good luck

That's really interesting about bananas. I know they give off a plant hormone called ethylene, which ripens fruits like avocados (you can put a hard avocado in a bag with a banana to ripen it), and also the gas can over ripen flowers (drastically shorten their shelf life) but I guess in the same time it can help with encouraging a plant to spike.

I didn't leave it for too long, as soon as it got black I took it off, I didn't want to attract bugs, then a few days later I put another on, just on top of the basket, and again took it off

That's a cool idea! I have heard of using a slice of apple to get bromiliads to bloom. Apparently it's the methane gas that does it. I'm going to put a banana peel on my stubborn asco right now!
