Your find is Eulophia Graminea. It is native to africa and usually ends up popping up when cypress mulch is put down around the little grassy islands at shopping centers like where you found yours.

I've found them all over Miami the last 3 years

Eulophia graminea is native to subtropical/tropical Asia.

The blooms do not look like the graminea. It looks more like petersii. It has brownish petals and purple sepals with purple stripes on the lip. My previous photos were somewhat out of focus but the plants are just starting to put out new leaves now and should bloom soon so I could take better pictures and post them.

It's not petersii - The pseudobulbs are the wrong shape, the spike is coming from the wrong part of the pseudobulb, and it's much too small.

It might be graminea. there's a bit of variation in flower color for the species.

It could also be andamanensis or euglossa.

I can say with 100% certainty, the species of Eulophia in your photo is not Eulophia petersii.

Being that I own Eulophia andamanensis, I also can confirm with 100% certainty that it is not Eulophia andamanensis. The shape of the pseudobulb is too long and conical for Eulophia andamanensis. The flowers on the plant in your photo has labella that are white with pink. Eulophia andamanensis have flowers with labella that are white with olive green vein-like markings. The inflorescence of Eulophia andamanensis are also more likely to emerge from the bottom of the pseudobulb, rather than the apex.

If it isn't Eulophia graminea, it could be Eulophia alta.

However, I'm leaning towards the notion that the plant in your photos, is in fact Eulophia graminea.

I agree with Kip and Philip - definitely not E. petersii which is very distinctive. (I'll try to attach a couple of pictures of E. petersii pseudobulbs.) Also agree that it doesn't really look like andamanensis or euglossa to me. I still think maybe alta but graminea is a good guess too.

I don't think the pseudobulbs are right for Eulophia alta.
Post a picture of the leaves. Eulophia alta is sometimes called "Wild Coco" because the leaves look like a coconut palm seedling. I can't find a picture, but I think the pseudobulbs are also short, almost spherical, and grow underground.
Eulophia graminea has leaves that are more like grass. The Pseudobulbs are conical, and above ground.

It may very well be Graminea. The blooms look very much like the photos posted by Ghost Hunter.
