I have a tenuifolia it handles the cold pretty well. I grow it outside here in LA and winter nights can drop below 10c sometimes. This spring it put up a few coconut scented blooms for me. Also it grows quite quickly into specimen size.

However, if you can keep it above 60F I think that is around 15c it will flower very profusely. I kept it indoors one winter and the entire plant was covered in blooms. I'd say almost 30 of them.

I have a Max tenuifolia here in the UK which I grow outdoors in the summer in full sun and indoors in the winter.

However I'm struggling to get mine to flower and I don't yet know what the problem is, not sure if it's light or temps or what. This summer is the first time having it in full sun so not yet sure if that will make the difference for flowering.

I suggest more like and more warmth in the winter and see what happens. Keep it above 16c at night.

Thanks it does stay above 15C in the winter as thats my minimum on the house stat. Hopefully more light will do the trick.
