Epidendrum fungus Male
Default Epidendrum fungus

I have lots of reedstem epidendrums in my yard of all colors. I got one keiki of the yellow version from my friend about 2 years ago and potted it up. The keiki has grown into a full plant with about 12 Canes and it flowered for the first time just the other week! It is absolutely beautiful.

It has always had a fungus though that from what i can tell has not affected the plant functions whatsoever, but makes the plant look really bad. It looks like hundreds of brown dots that only appear on the bottom of leaves. (almost all of them) I have sprayed with physan and a copper fungicide but to no result. Any recommendations? Just something i need to live with? I love the plant and the flowers and it hasnt affected any other plant near it so i dont think its all that dangerous but i'd rather not have it continue if there is any way.

Ben
