The many marvels of led grow lights
I have recently been using led grow lights in an attempt to reduce the number of bugs and fungal infections my plants are prone to. I am growing Dactylorhiza praetermissa a marsh orchid prone to fungal infections. The lights are superb at growing and blooming the plants and are significantly better than before,but the problems were still there. The company led-lightbulb.co.uk suggested that i added ultra violet leds to my light which they did for me as this sterilizes the environment and helps to kill bugs and other nasties.So on their advice this was done and since then my plants are bug free and fungus free also, so there is a lot to be said for these new lights.
I will be growing other varieties and post the results later on.
