Default Newbie has a Cattleya with Spots

I purchase a Cattleya from Lowes and when I inspected it at home I found it had numerous small black spots on/in its leaves. I found no evidence of pests on the plant. My question is what if anything should I do to treat the plant. I don't what to return it, but rather hope to gain some experience with it. I have attached some pictures to demonstrate the problem.

clean them with a cotton swab dipped in hydrogen peroxide every other day until it heals to rule out fungi or bacterial infestation...

the middle picture looks like a mechanical damage on the leaf maybe from travel from the grower's vehicle to the store employees who can be careless with handling plants

I agree with Bud. They don't look serious and they are not always in perfect condition. So just swab them to kill any bacteria as a precaution and make sure they don't multiply because then you may need to take further steps such as using Physan.

It looks like bacterial brown rot or pseudomonas infection which is rarely fatal.Take a fresh razor blade and cut out the infected tissue. Then dab on a bunch of cinnamon on the exposed tissue. It affects mostly older leaves but if treated promptly it can be erradicated. If you had a bunch of other orchids I would separate this one and treat it. I have lots of this infection on my catts and when it shows up I just take a razor blade, cut out the infdected area, treat with cinnamon, and it goes away.
