We all wish you the best of luck!

P.S. Please tell your Hubby that he shouldn't be too hard on himself- I have learned this by killing my fair share of my own plants and after being on this forum, I finally realized what I was doing- we all have the best intentions, but sometimes we love just a little too much haha

I've killed my share too! Just remember to not pack the moss too tight and put something in the bottom of the pot for drainage. I use styrofoam packing peanuts. I water when the moss is completely dry but don't let it go dry for too long. Good luck!
