Thanks for looking everyone . Ya I was super surprised when it first bloomed peloric like that. I was kinda mad and disappointed since I was expecting something totally different, but it's definitely grown on me and I haven't found another one like it anywhere. The flower has lasted about 3 weeks the first times so I'm expecting it to be around for another couple weeks, I'll see if the petals flatten out and form out. It has put out a new leaf that is just about mature and I'm really really excited to see the next spike and see if the plant is peloric or if it is just this spike that will continually bloom peloric. Either way I'll be happy but I am sorta hoping it stays peloric forever haha. Only time will tell :P. Thanks again for all the comments!

Well my peloric Psychopsis has just initiated a whole new spike from its newest mature growth!!!! So in a little while i get to see if its the plant that is peloric or if it was just that spike that is peloric!! . So exciting seriously!
I mean the spike is only 5 inches long if that... but its the first time i've self spiked a psychopsis . How long do you think it'll take to have its first flower? 5-6 months?

This is spectacular. Thanks for sharing - I didn't know the psy could be peloric.
That's so cool.
