Hi, Weather here in central PA has been so strange. I have mini and compact cats that normally spend summer outside in a northern shaded exposure. This year ranges from 100 during day then cooler and rainey. I normally grow under lights-windowsill but this year has me stumped as to; should I keep them outdoors and let them 'fend for themselves' and hope for the best or bring them inside? Any comments will be appreciated.
it can be 100F but under a shade it is 10 degrees lower....if you have a fishpond or an electric waterfalls brings down the temps if you put the orchids near it....I have plants outside my fire escape and they survive the hot and humid Manhattan heat wave because of the airflow and the shade from neighboring buildings makes it cooler....spraying with a misting hose nozzle in the morning and early afternoon also helps
