Default PINK STEMS?
the tops of the stems on my mini phal and one of the two stems on my big one are turning bright pink? what causes this?

I guess, you mean top of the spike? Is the plant about to bloom or done blooming? Tough to say without a picture but I would guess the spike is starting to die and dry out and it can star changing color - it's normal. Try to post a picture so we can help you better.
