As a sanderara is brassia x oncidium (even though I've always called them brassidiums), I would guess most will take intermediate conditions and medium light levels. The influence of the individual species in the background will play a role, as well.
I always treat Oncidium alliance intergenerics pretty much the same, until/unless the plant tells me otherwise lol - as Ray said, moderate light, intermediate temps (tho many can take some heat and some cool for short periods at least), keep media from drying out completely
Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately it's fairly cool in Melbourne (Australia), so I may have to see what I can do. I have no trouble growing oncidiums though, I have never tried oncidium hybrids before.
