Got through the first four pages of the K-lite thread. Head is spinning a bit. Man, the fert issue is far more complicated than I would have ever imagined. The Advanced Nutrients website was designed for whom as a grower? Each of their products seemed targeted, but I couldn't gather to which grower, even when I clicked on the hobby grower. Is it legit or science bloviation designed to make one think they are not getting what they need? How far does the hobbyist need to go? My AOS judge mentor used to remind me that these are "just a damned flower, for God's sake" when folks got in a tizzy. But, this might be the occasional "triathlon" competitor speaking to the "ironman" athlete, if you catch my drift. I will definitely read some more and see what I can glean. It is rather heady stuff!

AN was designed for hydroponic hobby pot growers.

Ya honestly some times its over my head too...

Honestly I would rather grow with organic fertilizer but they tend to smell strong, bring flies, and not give the same results. A mixture of both is the best aproch I think. Seaweed and fulvic acid are wonderful. Uses of beneficial bactria and fungi teas really help to keep disease away. Doing all this is not ecomonical for a hobbiest that has few plants. If you have a collection of 25 or more then you would probably benefit for playing with fertilizers and such. But for the hobbies it best to use a complete fertilizer like MSU and foliar spray seaweed(kelp) twice a month. Use of fans really help keep disease and pest away.
