I feed (about 75 ppm N) at every watering. For the last 6 months, I have been applying KelpMax with it. The results are so outstanding that I devised a way for others to apply the very same regimen by using a single product - Solo.

For the average windowsill grower, applying it every two weeks, and watering only in between, is probably adequate.
