Use of K-L-N with seed capsule formation

Is it ok to use K-L-N while seed capsules are forming? Or would the energy used to form new roots be better spent on formation of the seed capsules themselves? I have two NoID Phals, one has two capsules forming the other has four. Before the capsules started forming I re-potted them. The root systems looked ok but I like to go over the top. My line of thinking was that if I had a better root system then I would be able to provide more nutrients to the "pregnant" plants.

I would think go ahead with the KLN... like you thought, better roots = better growth and health in general, including with the pods whose development can be a stressor to the plant.
