This is a perfect plant for our condition in Sweden! Let it stand outside until there are a risk for sub o degrees. Then put it in a window and lower the watering, if possibly in a cooler place as a frost free garage. As soon as the winter is over put it out again. It will grow fast!
When it flower you move inside and enjoy the fragrance.

I agree with everyone above thinking Den kingianum or a hybrid of it. My first thought was how much they look like a keiki I've just taken from my Den Ellen (a kingianum hybrid).

I find these grow really easily in a variety of conditions (I've tried keikis mounted, in S/H in bark, in the house and in the greenhouse and all are doing well).

I've gotten its ID now and apparently you guys are amazing, it IS a Dendrobium kingianum. And now I have to find a new home for it...

I really can't be bothered to move it outdoors (where it'll be forgotten) move it indoors, no water, bright, water... etc. etc. This is what I meant about it being "bothersome", it's not a Phal or a Paph so I really don't feel motivated engaging that much in it.

I've never wanted a Dendrobium (the only exception is Dendrobium atroviolaceum pygmy - this one is on my wishlist), no matter how fragrant or cute it's just no genus for me. I am a picky person when it comes to what I want and don't want, and the don't wants tend to be neglected or die if they should find their way into my home.

I hope someone wants it, I'm even prepared to pay to get rid of it!

If I didn't already own several, I would have taken the plants!

You should be less picky, often times plants 'grow' on you after a time, and then you love them. I used to hate Catts. I now own 3!

It certainly looks as though you have a dendrobium.
As others have said it can have a flower that is any shade between white and deep purple. In New Zealand we have nick named it the friendship orchid because they grow so well we tend to give the kikis away to those that would like to start growing orchids. I find that the color of the cane tends to indicate the shade in the flower. Put some of the the Kiki's onto trees (They love fruit trees) in slightly filtered light positions and just watch them grow.
