Light Meters
Default Light Meters

Hi,
I'm a new member and new to orchid growing. Does anyone have a recommendation for a light meter that doesn't cost a bundle? I have a perfect window for orchids, but need to be sure the light is sufficient before I invest in shelves etc. My apartment faces north and east and so far what few orchids I have are doing OK, however these two windows face north. My east facing windows have a lot of trees outside, so don't think these would work. I have lots of new growth and a couple of plants that have bloomed in this north window. I would appreciate your input.
Thanks,
Tenhills

If you happen to have a smartphone, there are inexpensive apps that'll be sufficient.

I resell Hydrofarm light meters at a discount. This one is pretty popular.

Why add this as a blog, rather than a simple message in a new thread?
