Mutant, I don't know if it'll make you feel better, but ALL my plants go downhill for some time before they get used to my care and start flourishing. You'll just need patience while you figure out what these Phals need; or they need to accept the way you care for them if they want to live You'll get it. And I doubt they'll die. Orchids are pretty resilient... even under MY care

I agree. I've had many sulk and then get accustomed to my care and environment. As long as they make it and you figure out how to better address there needs if that is the issue, they should be just fine.

Yes, this is what normally happens to mine too, some buds blast, some flowers wilts, maybe they get a yellow leaf or two, and then they start growing. The difference with these two was that while all the other I got with the same order (I've had them for a little over a month), started to adapt to my conditions and care and grow (even the Phal. lindenii!), they started to go really downhill and now I know why.

I really hope they'll pull through, both of them, and that I haven't made things worse with my rescuing attempt.
