Take it out of the shower/bathroom. This plant needs constant humidity...the shower or any bathrooms can get dry when there is no activity...it only has moisture in that room if you are in the shower.
I put this plant in a terrarium type of environment(inside a large brandy glass with 1 inch water) to mimic the swamp area environment where it originally grows
it is a very young seedling...when I got my plant it was that size and I have to remove it from the grape stick and lay it in a bed of spanish moss for a year...then I was given a cypress bark from the swamps where there is a large mature orchid growing and my friend got me a piece of bark where the fungi of the mature plant can nourish my small growing plant...after 4 years I have established my ghost orchid on a hickory bark...
* the asian orchids have grown 4 inches in 2 years and my lindenii grew 5 inches in 4 years...they are very slow and needs lots of patience
I have also heard of folks having a terrible time with them on bark, but they did great if suspended on something as open as hardware cloth. Go figure.
Update on the ghosts, i've decided to have a mesh lid on my terrarium since all the ghost orchids in my shower have new growth and i feel that being open to the air is crucial. Seeing how they grow in the wild from youtube videos has given me some idea of how to maintain them as well.
