Source of 18" - 24" stakes and those little clips?
Still having a blast with my retirement. I was wondering if anyone was willing to share their source for 18"-24" stakes and those little clips.
This forum has taught me so much I now boldly repot my orchids. Also I'm up to 11
As always thanks so much.

There are online orchid supplies vendors, but I have found stakes and clips locally - stakes at Ace Hardware, and a local hardware chain, clips at Home Depot I think. I have also found clips on ebay.
Some online retailers: Repotme,Kelly's Korner, Cal West Tropical, tiandara. You might check First Ray's ( we love Ray! - tho I'm not sure if he carries these particular items)
I'm sure other member's will have other suggestions. Of the retailers I have listed I only have experience with Cal West and have no complaints

I have used Kelly's Korner and Tindara's and they both are great. I have ordered from them many times. I think I have seen the clips at Home Depot or Lowes too. The steaks I like I couldn't find local so I had to order them from Kelly's Korner. I usually order all my orchid supplies because I have a hard time finding anything around here. Good luck!

Oh I have ordered from Ray too. He has great fertilizers and other items. I need to place an order with him soon cause I'm going to be out of my fertilizer soon! I think I have ordered from Cal West Tropical and Repotme.com too but it has been awhile. I like to find all my stuff I need at one place so I don't have to pay shipping to more than one place. So I usually buy from Kelly's Korner. I do buy my New Zealand spaghnum moss on eBay. I usually find it with free shipping there.

Yes, I do I carry (30") plastic-coated metal stakes and spike slips.

Quarter Acre Orchids is another source for supplies. I have a huge order on its way here at the moment! She is located in the U.S.

I also recommend Ray's spikes and clips. His are nice and tall, and with a good pair of shears (or pliers), you can snap them in 1/3 to 1/2 pieces. Cheap, and solid.

Orchard Supply and most garden stores have the bamboo stakes which you can shorten if too long. Just please NEVER REUSE THEM FROM PLANT TO PLANT to avoid potential spread of virus. If you use the metal ones, sterilize them after use.

Yeah - I just got the really long stakes, and cut them down to size
