Default Ever take a bite of bulb?

yay I did. We were told at a meeting not long ago that man was no longer the biggest trouble with orchids in the jungles of south america. Monkeys eat the bulbs bec they are sweet and contain lots of sugar. Okey lets check these bulbs out for food

I had a large catt that the leaves were very bad so I wacked it off and took a bite of the bulb...Absolutely taste like sugar cane!!! I cant believe they are sweet. So now you know someone whos taken a bite out of a cattleya before the catt bit him

I want to try an Encyclia now but they dont look so tasty

Are you still O.K? I was just watchig a programme about a chinese couple who got caught trying to smuggle food into Australia and they were smuggling in -among other things- Lily bulbs. I guess it's not so strange after all. I've just been having a look at my plump beallara tahoma glacier's bulbs and wondering what they would taste like. I might give it a go one day myself but I thought that some orchids were toxic?
