Dying Paphiopedilum

I was just wondering: If mold or fungus begins to grow once in the bag, what can be done to get rid of it? Are there ways to help avoid it in the first place? I anticipate this being an issue if sealed in a plastic bag.

Just keep the bag opened a crack or open it wide up a few minutes during the morning and again in the evening to allow some air exchange.
