Kauai orchids?

Hey all, I am going to Poipu Beach in Kauai. One of the islands of Hawaii and i was wondering if there were any orchid vendors/stores/nurseries ect. that are close by there? If anyone knows let me know! I'd love to take a peak

I don't know about Kauai, but Maui has at least 2 that I know of...

There are actually several Hawaiian orchid nurseries.

Ya i could find a few on other islands but unfortunately we are spending all of our time on the one island . Well about a 25 minute layover on another island, which stinks.

The only vendor that I think is still in business on Kauai is the Hawaiian Orchid Source. I would call them at 808 212-1579 for an appointment. Be sure to post pics!

For a reail shop there is Orchid Alley in down town Kapaa. They usually have a nice selection. Depending on your arrival, they maybe a little low on stock now after Mother's Day and a recent orchid show. Several other growers may require a phone call. Family Flowers and Yamadas are both in the local phone book.
