This is such a Great idea. Especially for anything you really liked at first, but then things change and adapt... I'll check and see if I have anything running around that might be small enough to ship for 5 bucks. I'll keep an eye out for anything interesting.

Hey Keithrs, I'm interested in your Angraecum sesquipedale and the Aerangis mystacidii if anything of mine looks interesting for that trade.
Ya trading is really fun, it's a great way to meet people with similar interests and feed that addictions hahaha.
For anybody on this forum I am in Hawaii and just about everywhere they sell an orchid called the Hawaiian Bamboo Orchid or Arundina bambusifolia. They grow like bamboo and the canes are like identical! I am buying them and since they are cleared to be legal to transport I am gonna be bringing back a whole bunch of them. If anybody would like a little plant I could bring them back and either trade/sell them to you guys. They are super cheap like $5 for 2 plants so I wouldn't rip anyone off, just looking to get a few new orchids or sell them for what I got them for since you guys have been so nice and helped me out a ton of times. Send me a private message or reply to this forum and I'll buy as many as u guys want.
Aloha from Hawaii!
Ben

Although this sounds like a great idea on the surface, I hope everyone is making a concerted effort to be sure the plants they put up for trade, sight unseen to the other party, are free of virus, especially the Cym BBs and divisions. Sorry to put out a warning here, but virus is rampant in many genera out there in the public trade and passing it on to a clean collection is way too easy!

True, thanks for the warning CYM lady. I know that there are virus's out there and I have recently tested this exact plant for CMV and Odontog. Ringspot virus and it came up negative for both! so I know I'm good and I'll for sure look out for odd looking plants. Thanks for the concern and that's a really good point.
Anybody else up to participate? Me and keithrs are making a nice trade and those Hawaiian bamboo orchids are still up for offer!
