I have put it out today at lunchtime so I will leave it out there.
I live in south west vic where at the moment it is bucketing down.
Where would be the best place to put it, am I best to put it out in the weather - sun, rain, wind. What sould I put it in and what should I avoid

Have you read the fact sheet? I don't think so
because it tells you where to orientate your orchids and how to care for them!!!
'Under the eaves of the north face of your house.' Check out the Fact Sheet!
Aust. Orchid Nursery is in your state, they are the experts in growing Den Kingianum. You may want to call them if things still don't work out.
What kind of 'bark' are you using?
Buds!
