Buying orchids...
I have been looking around for more chids to buy and other than The Home Depot, which has some very nice looking orchids, are there any quality websites which sell orchids?
I did find Porter's Orchids, it seemed that there were a wide variety to choose from and I thought that I would consult here as many of you might know a good place to expand a chid family. ANY IDEAS?

Check out the forum called Vendor Feedback. It will give you a good idea who's good to order from and who's not.
There are lots of other Floridians on OB who can probably point you to some great orchid nurserys within driving distance.

I have dealt with many people on eBay whose plants are of great quality - BarDavo Orchids, Exoticorchidspr, Baldan's Orchids, Orchidtn, Shermantp, Darkfalls Orchids, Jchristyorchids, priyajon and Larry's Orchids (in the process of obtaining - I'll let you know how the Masdies are once they arrive)
Parkside's orchids are exceptional. Hauserman(some have mixed feelings - my plants are very healthy and blooming )
Orchids Gone Wild (on eBay as ogonewild) for phags and paphs.
Carmela's Orchids, I bought catts at an orchid show - excellent.
I hope this helps

Oakhill gardens, Parkside, Andy's Orchids, and Big leaf orchids. I like all three.

I've just bought several minis from J&L and was very impressed as to the size, condition and over all health of all of them. I will be going back to them when I buy again as well as Andy's.

I recommend deciding what kind of plants you want, and CAN grow well, and then looking for vendors, as different ones have different plants.

I would go to orchidweb.org and look at the list of vendors. orchidwire.com also has a nice list of vendors.
