That doesn't sound good. I have never had that happen myself.

I had thought perhaps there was a member with a very similar user name trying to log in with your user name by mistake, but I don't see any user names like that.
Obviously if someone was trying to log in with your user name, they failed -
I haven't heard of this type of thing being a problem before. Can't imagine if it's random, or not.

That's not good. To be safe, change your password to something complex, if that's not already the case. I can't imagine why someone would want to hack an OB account, unless it's the spammers getting desperate.

I know it is weird. I thought the same about maybe someone having a close name. But when I rec'd a few emails that they keep trying, something just didn't feel right.

I have been going back and forth about this since last night, do I change a pw that obviously isn't easy to crack or change it to even more complex. Decisions, decisions. I also thought may be it had to do with the spam things that I read about prior to my first thread about this. Why would someone want to get into my account on the Orchid board. Doesn't make sense.

They may think that information about you is hidden in your user cp. they don't need much, just a city or location, not even a full address. Something similar happened to my Facebook account. The only thing they could harbor ten was my email address and birthdate. However only 1 hour after that charges were being made on my credit adds and bank accounts. Chances are good, in my opinion, they already has some information on you and they are looking to fill in the missing pieces. Take the extra work route, and change all of your accounts everywhere and request a new debit/credit cards. I know it's a lot of work and who I owe why they are doing it, but safer is far better in my experience.
