Thanks Bruce,

Yeah, you are right. I only have 9 plants. It does take me over one hour to water them. I do flush them once a month with just plain water.

It seems that most of you think that I should lower the amount of fertilizer. I'll consider it.

Thanks for the info on fulvic acid.

Fulvic acid is derived from humic acid. Fulvic acid is best applied by foliar feeding. It helps the plant uptake nutrients through the leaves and helps the plant use the nutrients the plant has already.

You can up Ca/Mg several ways... Most use a Ca/Mg product. You can also buy Ca Nitrate for Ca and Epsom salt for Mg. I must admit that I use a Ca/Mg product for ease of use. I have not used it since starting K-Lite which as lots of both in it.

Hi Keith,

What I'm doing right now is, I add once a month epsom salt and sprinkle eggshells on top of the opting mix. But I think I'm going to stop doing this once I start using MSU fertilizer.

I read about K-Lite at the Ray's site. One more thing to consider.

Thanks,

Slobo

The thing with eggshells is that you have to have a microbe environment in order to break down the Ca into usable food for your plants.

Use MSU in low doses and do your supplements once a month. You can do MSU @ 125 PPM N once a month if you feel a plant need a boost.

May help to use a microbe product like Plant Success Soluble once a month also.
