Not all yellow leaves are bad...
At least I don't think so!
First pic is a mystery Lycaste. I repotted it recently and there's the start of a new growth under the surface, so I'm sure that's prompting the loss of the leaves. According to the reading I've done (trying to find it's possible identity... lol....) sometimes young plants of deciduose types don't lose their leaves in autumn. I believe the spots are snail damage, but I'm keeping it under quarentine protocol until I have healthy clean new leaves! So the sooner the better... and if the new growth comes with flowers even better!
Next few pics are of my NOID cambria, believed to be Pagan Lovesong. I got it most of a year ago in bad shape, and it's been sitting in it's pot doing nothing, except it did loose a pulb, and the others have got thinner and thinner. Just over the last week two leaves have yellowed, and I felt it was make or break time! And a good time to re-stake it... have a look how few bad roots it had... Look what I found splitting one of those leaves at the base!!!
