How long DO Phal blooms last?
I know the time varies somewhat, but that they do last for weeks at least. The thing is, one of my NoID's older flowers have started to wilt, which I have been expecting considering it has had them for almost three months soon. On my P. Wiganiae, the blooms are still there after more than two months and on another of my NoID:s (an equestris hybrid of some sort) the blooms show no sign of wilting after closer to three months.
I know that the flowers last longer if the temperatures are a bit lower (which they are in my kitchen), but three months? I've been expecting both the P. Wiganiae and my NoID to start loosing their oldest flowers, but they don't seem very inclined to do so.
So, how long can they last? Anyone have any record of some sort that they want to share?

Flower duration depends on the Phal you've got. Some last for months, others last for a few weeks.

It seems to depend on the hybrid. Some will keep adding flowers just when you think they are finishing.
I have a doritinopsis type which lasted over 6 months before it stopped blooming, and didn't take long to come back in to bloom.

The individual flowers on my great white NOID last up to 5 months. The flowers on my bastianii last for a few weeks but it's a sequential bloomer and more blooms open as the old ones wilt. It all depends on the genetics and environment of your phals.

The short answer, as the others say, is 'it depends'!
The thick waxy textured hybrids do seem to the the longest, individual blooms seem to last 5-7 months on those. On the other hand I have species which last no more than 2-3 weeks. My Wiganaie usually lasts a bit under 3 months, but it's shorter when it blooms during the hot summer months. A good average though for hybrids seems to be about 3 months.

Thanks for your answers guys.
They've all added or started to add flowers (seems like Mr. Wiganiae plans to follow suit and start growing its spikes again too) so a certain loss of older flowers doesn't really make a difference. I've never had my Phals doing this so it's really fun to watch as they get more and more flowers, two months after the first ones appeared. My equestris hybrid will open its 13th flower and has buds for at least 7 more. It seems as if it read this thread while I was asleep though, two of its oldest flowers are showing signs of wilting.
I've read somewhere that the P. equestris flowers don't last as long. Is this true?

No, equestris blooms don't last very long since it's somewhat of a sequential bloomer. I never have more than 6-10 blooms open at once even though the spikes may keep producing buds for many many months.

Oh, shoot! That was a very boring trait... I'll go and have a serious discussion with mine then, telling them to not listen to such nasty rumours.

The nasty rumours of equestris flowers not lasting that long or them not having that many opened at the same time. I'll make sure they'll believe that it's just rumours with no grain of truth in them what so ever. If they still believe in them I'll threat them using the trash bin.
It should work, right?
