It may be sunburn, but I'm not 100% sure because it does look quite strange.

I'm pretty new myself, but I agree the bubbling is a burn of some kind. If not sunburn, then burn from being against a cold window? One of mine has a mark like that (with a black bit too) which hasn't changed for over a year! It had it when I got it, it's not progressing, so I'm not worrying.
Both phals seem to have new roots and leaves coming, so I think the bottom leaves are just dying off naturally. On the first one can I see some white marks/somethings on the stem? I'm wondering what that is?
If you haven't changed the medium for a year or two then you could think about doing that now since the plants are in growth.

Hi! Welcome! I think the leaves are dying naturally too. They still have quite a few good leaves. Your roots look great! Your bark medium looks like it is still good. If it is not breaking down yet I wouldn't repot. I would wait until it breaks down or until the root ball gets too big for the pot. I also think the silvery part on the white Phals leaf looks like sun burn. I see some white spots on the white phals stem too. I don't know if it has a proper name so I'm calling it a stem. Anyway, do you know what it is? It's hard to tell from the picture, but I want to make sure it's not some kind of pest.

Hi, yellow bottom leaves its normally caused by a leak of nitrogen, and\or caused by an inapropriated pH of the water. The other weird burned leave I cant figure out whats the cause, but its better to cut out the afected area of the leave, you can follow this tutorial video .
cumps.

I agree with Wynn Dee about those white spots on the stem of the first Phal, what are they?

thank you all for replying! i am glad to hear that the leaf drop is most likely normal and you think my plants look healthy!
they were re potted about a year ago, so not sure if re potting would be necessary right now.
as for the white spots, i'm really not sure as to what it could be? is it possible it is mealy bugs? i have had those on cacti before and i removed them easily with rubbing alcohol on a q tip.
i wonder if maybe it is just damage to the tissue, possibly during transport?

Just to make sure, you can use rubbing alcohol on those spots like you did on your cacti. Every now and then I clean off the leaves of my orchids with it.

Also, not to contradict what Totouan said, because its not completly wrong, but you don't have to cut off the leaf unless you just flat out hate the look of it. It is pretty far up the leaf. Just make sure your plant isn't touching the window or in direct sun.

i don't plan on cutting off that part of the leaf, i don't think it is diseased. it is most likely from the sun like everyone has said.
maybe i should move the plants further from the window, they are in a south facing bay window and get LOTS of sun!
