I am not Canadian (although that is half of my background), and I don't know of a source, but I have to ask why someone in the Yukon would want a plant that needs high temperatures and high light levels in order to grow over 2 meters tall for blooming?

I know that I am a glutton for punishment, trying to grow some plants, but that seems extreme.

There are some online Hawaiian gift shops that sell these. I have a package from an airplant and this is the store info: Kanoa Hawaii, P.O. Box 972, Hilo Hawaii 96721
ph: (808) 935-7270. I have googled it in the past, years ago, and they had the arundina bambusifolia.
Good luck!

Isn't that a pain in the butt? We can only buy a fraction of what can be bought in the states because of needing those permits. I've given up hope of ever seeing plants such as Dendrobium Illusion and others here in Canada.

Hey Vanda....its actually not as bad as you think...if you got $35 for every supplier that you want to order from LOL....but seriously, I just filled out the forms , and the guys at wildlife thought it would be ok to fill them out for "various internet sellers" as long as they were all in the same country.....we'll see how it goes

Good luck! I'm going to an orchid show next weekend and I'm really hoping that they have something good there. It's a small show and I was disappointed that my vanda guy won't be there, though.
