Ah, okay--thanks! I've never seen one ruffled like that but then again, I am new to the whole orchid thing.
Being a recessive trait it's only expressed with two copies of the allele, so how often do breeders try to achieve that arrangement? Not asking for statistics, just if it's considered a valuable trait or a fault in the orchid community.
