Should I remove blooms?-rsz_img_0658-jpg1st picture shows how it was.
I had taken this out of orchid house, out of rain, and kept it under side awning, as I intended to show Guarisophleya Little Susie 'Joy' at my monthly orchid meeting. But unfort. a month got to it and laid eggs, which ugh., turned into little grubs and decimated every flower. My question to you guys, can I remove this stalk now, as it is very unsightly, also another sheath will be opening up soon. I thought if I removed this damaged stalk, the orchid will put all it's energy into the other sheath?

I would say yes. The bugs basically ate everything up anyway.
