Default Two good roots

My Phal is succumbing to a rot, that strangled it from the stem. It has only one small leaf left and that one now seems to be dying. It does have two large strong looking roots in planting mix, and the roots do not have the rot that is on stem. Is it possible to grow this orchid again from its healthy roots?

No, it need the crown to survive. It can do without leaves and roots but not the crown. I had one that got crown rot but it had the most magnificent roots. It is sad when there is still something green left, and know that it is dead.
However, if anyone one here can revive something on miracles it is the *King....

Keep it around and see if it'll grow for you. You never know...

But the pot will have to be rather small and it may need styrofoam peanuts to fill in empty spaces.

Try to keep it warm.

If all else fails, just buy a new one and learn from your mistakes. Sometimes that's just how it goes.
