Newbie looking for help, yellow leaves

Hello. I hope this is the right place to ask. I am completely new around here and also to growing orchids. I got one for my birthday at the end of January and it seems it is not doing well. I would really like to try and save it and take good care of it. I am sorry if I use wrong terms here. English is not my first language and as I mentioned, I am new at this. Thanks for understating!

When I got the orchid, it had two large stalks with flowers, four large leaves and three smaller ones. What happened is that it started loosing the smaller bottom leaves. They turn yellow and fall off. This has already happened to the two smallest leaves and third one turned yellow. Now I did try and look up some information and it seems orchids do this with the bottom leaves from time to time but I am guessing that three leaves over two weeks or so is way too much. Also, the orchid lost some flower-buds from the very ends of the stalks with flowers. It looked like they dried off.

Any idea where the problem could be? Is the container too small? Maybe it also needs some fertilizing, I am guessing the two large flowers can drain a lot of power from it. Or did it have too much watter?

I tried taking some pictures for a better idea of the situation. Now I do apologize for the quality of these photos. My phone is not taking good pictures. If you need to see better pictures please let me know and I will try to figure something out.
