Hi all,
My wife bought me a maroon Oncidium interegeneric, and I was really surprised to find the fragrance very similar to hyacinth. (My favorite!) Who knew? Anyway, the pseudobulbs are really wrinkled, and I wondered if that was normal, (I watered it right away)

Older pbulbs will wrinkle a bit, new ones should be smooth and plump. Severely wrinkled and shriveled pbulbs are from lack of water due to EITHER underwatering, OR overwatering (roots rot, and plant cannot takeup water).
In my experience pbulbs will not "re-plump" so do not use that as an indicator of proper watering. With proper care the new growth will come in well, and have plump pbulbs.
