Knocked my favorite Phal over...
Default Knocked my favorite Phal over...

My favorite phal has 8 open blooms on it, and another 6 buds, it has been growing full tilt, until I knocked it over and now the flowers have wilted and growth has stopped

Any suggestions? A bi of bark fell out so the roots were disturbed. Im a bit afraid of re-potting in case I damage the roots further

Well, the damage is done so I would just repot it or at least fill the pot to replace the mix that was lost. Don't feel too bad, we've all done the same thing at some point.

How terrible! I think we've all had our fair share of accidents like that.
Some bark falling out of the pot is not going to hurt the roots one bit, and if the plant needs to be repotted, then go ahead.

Sorry about the spike, the fall must have bent the spike, blocking the flow of sap.

Your roots are probably fine and ,like said above, you spike bent or broke somewhere. I think we have all done this before.

I have noticed a few splits in the roots. When I repot should I cut the spike quite high and hope for a rebloom, just leave it, or cut it completely?

Phals usually don't mind even mind being re-potted well in-bloom. You can re-pot if you feel it is needed. If you want to try for more blooms, cut above a node.
