Default Phragmipedium Grande finally blooming. Thanks OB!

Thanks to the information on OB about watering phrags my phrag Grande bloomed for the first time since I moved away from my greenhouse. It has two spikes with a total of six buds. Allowing about an inch of water to flow into the dish under the pot and letting that slowly evaporate until the next watering did the trick.

Looks like it's going to be gorgeous once in full bloom! I don't grow Phrags and know little about them, so am surprised that they like water that much! I knew they liked to be wet, but had no clue they liked sitting in water like that.
Good to know, since I would like to try my hand at phrags!

Congratulations on the blooms! I'll have to remember that tip about watering when I get my first phrag!
