How to tell what type of orchid I have

Thanks for the help guys and gal!
The Google research paid off, definitely monopodial and the photo of the Phalaenopsis Amabilis that ArenalBotanicalGarden sent looks almost exactly like mine when it was in bloom. I had 23 blossoms open at one time. In the past I was lucky to get an orchid to last a year, let alone rebloom. I would have included a photo but my hard drive had to be replaced and all the nice shots are gone.

I'm excited.
