Hello,
I have two paph. armeniacum plants. They both started to grow the buds. One is fine, grows ok and I might even post bloom picture soon(hopefully). Here it is now:
The bud on the other stopped growing while still inside the leaf and now got soft and brown:
I am not sure if it is rotting or drying. How to remove it without damaging plant? There are two offshots on the plant that should make new fans, I am afraid to kill it all.
Thank you.
I would just try and gently pull it out, gripping the dead bud.
I've had ones do this and I'm not sure the cause. I found that after a few days it pulled out easily, initially it wouldn't come out and I just left it until it would.
Thank you Rosie. I will try that.
I thought that maybe water got into bud when I was misting the plant and it rotted. I am now careful to mist only the leaves.
