Good websites to order orchids?
So obviously I am an orchid nut already, and I want MOREEEEEEEEEEE.
What are some of your favorite websites to order orchids from? (when you don't buy local)
I am a patient person, I am kinda looking for younger plants that would be cheaper, so I can have more plants and grow them up myself. So, places that offer young plants would be good.

Vendor forum is full of info. it's where I got the suggestion to order from Hausermanns. Compots might be what you want though.

Oak Hill Gardens.
If you order too small/young of an orchid as a beginner the frustration will be too much.
Oak Hill Gardens has large enough seedlings for you to grow as a beginner without too much trouble.
Whatever you do, don't buy seedlings straight out of flask, I honestly don't think you're ready for that right now. If you look hard enough, you'll find these, but like I said before, save it for later when you've grown more of the larger seedlings.

It totally depends on what you want, as every vendor carries a different selection! Lucky for you, you live in the US where there is probably at least one orchid vendor per state!!!

Cody - You underestimate us here in the good old US of A. Here in Florida alone we have more than enough vendors to send one to each of the 50 states and still have alot left over.

Oak Hill has great prices on the seedlings. That package deal is great.

Yeah, I don't think I am looking for quite as young as straight out of the flask. Heck, I just learned what that was a couple weeks ago when I was at my local orchid growers and he was showing me how you make hybrids and then showed me some in a flask. Haha.
I wish I would have taken advantage of living in Florida as far as Orchids go. I grew up in the heart of Orchid land.. just north of Sarasota. I could have had my fill. But I have been in TN for most of my adult life, I left FL when I was 20.
I have a great grower here locally, but just looking to see what else is out there and possibly find younger plants... I love his orchids but don't have the money to spend on the awesome ones I want! hehe.

I am REALLY tempted by that seedling package at Oakhill... eek! I promised myself I wouldn't buy anything major until the weather warmed a bit here.. but, my baby is due in May so I need to buy stuff before then so it has time to get settled before I am bogged down with a newborn. :-p
