Tucker - It's one of the Latouria type Dendrobiums species, Dendrobium atroviolaceum, absolutely stunning in person.

Thank you for the I.D., Glen. I'll have look into that one.

Actually I think that is a hybrid of it with some Den spectabile in it. Atroviolaceum itself does not have contorted flowers. It's still in the Latouria group though.

Tony, I have seen the National Bonsai collection a couple of years ago and it was very cool. Now to post a few more pics that for some reason didn't work right the first time.
