Now what?
So I have a seedling catt that I managed to keep alive after root rot and a major pest infestation. I put it into a clear spice jar with some moss and just waited. It has now been about 6 months and it is starting to grow a new root. It never lost any leaves during this process and while a bit dehydrated it looks pretty good all considering (it should be dead). The problem is that I am afraid that I won't be able to get the catt out of the spice jar if the roots grow more, but at the same time it is still virtually rootless and I don't want to mess with a good thing. Should I leave it or remove it into a small pot. If you say re-pot can you give some suggestions on what kind?
Definitely leave it!! Let it get tons of roots, and if you dont mind losing the jar, when it has tons of roots and atleast one new growth, wrap the jar in newspaper and tap it with a hammer until it breaks, then you wont disturb the roots and it will be established enough to move into a terra cotta pot.
