Walmart should not be allowed to sell anything living!
One of my orchids had only one root after root rot. I repotted it in straight spagnum moss and it recovered well. If you pot the one in spagnum moss I might even put it in a large, clear plastic bag to increase humidity to help stop leaves from losing so much water. Good luck!

To help stimulate growth you need a little light (east window), humidity (40%-80%), and they seem to grow fast when it is a little warmer (80F-90F). I also like to use organic fetilizers (manure water or store bought liquid organic fertilizer) and fish emulsion fertilizers seem to help.
