Help! First timer with wilting blooms

I bought this orchid with beautiful blooms and put it in the bathroom thinking it would like the humidity. Now the blooms closest and furthest from the roots are wilting and dying. The other blooms look fine. I'm so worried. The other blooms look fine. Maybe I overwatered at twice in about 10 days? Should I pinch off the dying blooms? Thanks!

Ive seen the picture. It is a beautiful flower. How long ago did you buy this plant? It seems the flowers that opened first are now dying. Maybe its been a month since this flowers bloomed and its time to produce another spike or a keiki.
Do not cut the spike until it withers and turns brown...you might have blooms still coming...
Bathrooms are good for orchids provided they have also light aside from humidity...btw: what is your grow zone?
I didnt see the media the plant is growing in the pot...find a watering and fertilizing regimen that will work for both of you. Also read and research on the culture of your plant to get to know it well...its parents: where it originally came from so you can mimic the environment it grows in originally...

Your flowers may just be at the end of their bloom. I always pinch my ugly ones off.

Overwatering a phal and rotting the roots is an easy thing to do so that is a valid concern. I like to let my phals dry completely between watering. With my first phal, it took forever for the middle and bottom of the pot to dry so I put styrofoam peanuts in the bottom and middle so everything dried evenly. Often stores overwater the phals and the medium has deteriorated in the middle so I always repot when an orchid first enters my home. The other big thing with phals is that when watering, always be careful not to get water in the middle of the upper leaves. This can lead to problems with rotting as well. Good luck!
