strange discoloration on phal leaf

If it's perfectly healthy (which it sounds like it might), it's a nice attribute to have that accentuates the lines of the leaves.

One of mine is showing darker edges along the leaves, almost deep purple/maroon. But it's probably more due to stress, as the plant had been through a lot in the past 6 months.
