Default Zimbabwe Orchids

My mom was born and raised in Zimbabwe. I have visited my families farm about 6 times since i have been alive and think it would be cool to start collecting orchids that are indiginous to Zimbabwe. Are there any?

Yes, there are orchids naturally occurring in Zimbabwe, but a large percentage of them pretty much don't make it into the trade.

They include:

Some Eulophia spp. Some Disa spp. Some Bulbophyllum spp. Some Satyrium spp. Some Brachycorythis spp. Some Habenaria spp. Maybe a few Polystachia spp.

There could be more genera of orchids from Zimbabwe, but I don't know what they'd be.

I can't specify down to the species level because I'm not familiar enough with African orchids in general to go that far in detail.

Thanks for the quick replies! I'll have to take a look at the IOSP page, that looks really helpful! Ansellia africana is one ive seen so far.
