I don't know what 'error 300' means but size can be an issue. If you click the 'Go Advanced' button. Then 'manage attachments' then a small window will pop up for you to browse for your photo. Once you chose it, click the 'upload' button. I size mine so that the longest side is around 800 pixels and they come out plenty large enough to have a good look at. Maybe try again and make sure the image has been re-sized.

@msaar...Milt. is the correct abbreviation for Miltonia. If it was a Miltoniopsis wouldn't it be a Mltnps?
There is such a thing as Milt. Rouge(pic 1)from a US site
And there is also a Miltoniopsis Rouge(pic2)from Hanover Germany GH pics

Hey Bud,
That first photo is mine that I posted here on OB when it bloomed. Where did you find it?? If it wasn't here on OB, then someone has used it without my permission. But that's another whole discussion! I'd like to know tho.
Both photos are of Miltoniopsis. They were split into separate groups (cool growing Columbian species) and warm growing Brazilian species) a number of years ago. However the term Milt. is still used by the AOS and RHS for awarding and registering both groups. This does add to the confusion as to their culture. Basically the round pansy type are Miltoniopsis and cooler growing and not tolerating a lot of light. I have found that if they are kept cool, they can take more light than you would think and seem to bloom well maybe because of it. RJSquirrel mentioned that too

Hi Silken: I got it from google(google the name of the orchid and it will bring you several pictures)...and the picture I got is signed by Pat Randall...so you know who posted your pic in the net
I just read/follow the title of the orchids latin names and abreviations and Milt. is Miltonia
and Mltnps. is for Miltoniopsis...
therefore: the title of the orchid mentioned in this thread was Milt. Rouge(it means it is Miltonia Rouge)...otherwise I will say otherwise

Miltonia [Milt.] (syn. Miltoniopsis or Mps.) Rouge
Above is how OrchidWiz shows it and it definitely IS a Miltoniopsis. If you do some more googling, you will find informations saying just what I told you above about the split in the genus Miltonia into warm and cool growing species but how for registration purposes they are still officially all called Milt.

Robert Bedard Horticulture : Miltoniopsis Culture
Above is a link to an article that explains the split into two genus of Miltonia and Miltoniopsis and the explanation of the use still today of the term Miltonia when referring to Miltoniopsis.
rw131, this gives you a good thorough explanation of cultural requirements for your Milt. Rouge as well.
Hope that helps.

Actually I am Pat Randall Thanks for the compliment on the photo. When I Googled my photo came up under my photo album here on OB. So I'm not sure if that's where you got it or your search engine found it elsewhere.
