Great purchase Paul! I killed gigantea seedling by crown rot and still don't dare to get another one. Their blooms are so beautiful. Good luck with your baby.

Thank you! I'm terrified sick of giving it crown rot due to it's size and the water getting into it's crown. I've even moved it a bit in it's pot so it's up higher to prevent just that. OK, enough about that. Sorry to hijack the thread, lol... On with the subject now.

support your plant with a bamboo stick so it is guided straight up when it grows...yep Orchideya...your vandas will be big and tall in a couple of years...you will wonder how they shoot out so fast on their fourth and fifth year...by its tenth year you will have two to three spikes twice a year for your species and bigger flatter flowers...just have patience...the plant will always love you back with blooms
