Mounting my dendrobium keiki(s)
Hi. I am about to mount two dendrobium phalaenopsis keikis. This is the wood that I have.
I plan to cut is in half and mount it on the upper portion.
These are the keikis.
My question is in what orientation do i mount them? upside down. at 90 degrees from the surface or with the pseudobulbs against the surface?
shahrez.

I would mount it in an upward position, and put some sphagnum moss around the roots and tie the roots close to the wood....you'll have to support the top of the plant as well.

MOUNTED! I don't use moss btw. I water a lot and humidity is always above 65% throughout the year.

If you find your wood is not staying moist for very long, you might use a wet paper towel on the roots until they attach to the mount.
